My Studio
A little winding rock path from the house leads to the little studio nestled in the woods. The building is small, but just right for this artist and her dog Strider to feel at home. The light is great with the skylights and we have a good view of a deer trail just outside the windows. In fact the deer often look in at us as we’re working. They sometimes snort and stomp their feet when they see us. This is understandable since it was their space first after all. We enjoy a wide variety of birds at the window feeder too. My hardest decision of the day: Do I listen to the sounds of nature or to NPR as I’m working?
